7# You Don’t Need To Be A Nerd In Order To Be Smart

Hey Friends,

It has been a long long time that we people, to be specific the, we Indian society, has been considering the nerds or the class toppers as the smartest and talented ones and are given a very high position in our society. They are considered as the extreame inventors, innovators and that they can solve any problem that comes in their way with an ease. WRONG!!! WRONG!!! WRONG!!! Absolutely wrong!!! They may earn millions of dollars in the wests but very few among them can earn ‘billions’ of dollars. These class toppers may solve any textual or high order mathematical or physics equation which might need a lot of brainstorming, but they can not get comfortable with a something as simple as social interaction or a relationship. But we, so called non-intelligent burdens on earth can deal with both of them, the studies and the relationships and our social lifes.

For those who have read this article till this point and might be cursing or doesn’t agree with me, for them I just want to ask few very simple questions, if you can answer, then stop reading this article else read it till the end and try to understand. 1) Did Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple Computers, ever scored over 87%? 2) Was Thomas Alva Edison, the greatest inventor of all time, was a class topper? 3) Did Mark Zuckerberg had and bachelors or masters degree when he created the Facebook? 4) How much did A.P.J. Abdul Kalam might have scored in his class 10th or 12th boards?...Any answer for these simple questions??? No, right?!!

Dreams doesn't matter in India, only certificates & qualification does

In our great nation where history is so rich, even we were so rich once upon a time, but then what happened??? Yeah, I know that the foreigners looted us but then, its been so long since then, and above all we people boast so much about our national nerds who score 99.9% every year in their boards, where are they? Stats tells that, these so-called nerds goes abroad for studies with government scholarships and they get so addicted there that they prefers to settle abroad. So what was all the need of these toppers and their high percentage when they even cannot return anything to their own nation. Because of this, the talented yet not the toppers get blown away in the storm of idiotism that is made by the society and government.

Here, people thinks that, if a child scores 85%+ he/she is a good person even if they are the most selfish, arrogant, ill-mannered children (I am not stating this to all the 85%+ OK!! So calm down), and someone who might not find all these mainstream subjects disinteresting and scores less percentage, they are wraped-up as the filthiest and worse children even if they are totally innocent and kind. Our former president Mr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, once said that the backbechers are the real toppers of the classroom of  life.

Well, I really want to continue this article but before that I need your help. I’ll your feedbacks, your life instances or any such case you see around, what do you think of our education system and anything and everything that you can me in relation with this topic. I would really appreciate your support.

Thanks for reading,
Aniruddha
